Somarinsanna (染まりんさんな)
About the show
A community podcast hosted by a Hiroshima-born, Tokyo-based host, on themes of everyday life, work, and local culture.
We designed it to keep the regional context while making it easy for participants to bring topics into the conversation.
Regional communities often hit the problem of “topics broaden but never deepen.”
We addressed this by narrowing the target along two axes — region × life situation — to balance series consistency with relatability for the listener.

1. A common template for episode structure
We fixed each episode into four sections: intro → today’s theme → personal anecdote → prompt.
This reduces the load of designing the structure each time, and helps listeners predict the flow of the show.
2. Within-24-hour community prompt operation
Anchored to each episode, we post a recurring prompt — “how does this look in your hometown / your everyday life?” — into the community.
The path is designed to position each episode as material for dialogue inside the community.
3. An improvement loop that feeds listener reactions into upcoming episodes
We review comments and reactions monthly and feed them into the next month’s recording themes.
This shortens the distance between listeners and the show.
It also helps participants recognize it as “a place where their voice reaches the show.”
Intended outcomes
- Steady supply of shared conversation topics
- Increased comment-sourced conversation
- Rediscovery of regional identity

Frequently asked questions
- Q. What kind of show is 染まりんさんな?
- A. A regional-community podcast in which a Hiroshima-born, Tokyo-based host talks about everyday life, work, and local culture. Anchored on the loose shared trait of region, it is designed so both listeners and speakers can step into the conversation easily.
- Q. Where is the show distributed?
- A. Spotify is the primary platform. The show page is at <https://open.spotify.com/show/1vCXwpGaZHjoyx2neFBFAp>.
- Q. What is the first step for starting a regional-community podcast?
- A. We recommend defining "who this show is for" not just by region but by life situation (during commute, while doing housework, etc.). Region alone tends to spread the topic too thin; narrowing further — for example, "people in their thirties who moved from Hiroshima to Tokyo" — stabilizes the judgment on which topics to record.
